About Me

I'm Kimberley but most people call me Kim.  I am a native of South Jersey but now live in Orlando, FL.  I started this blog because I want to share my journey in traveling in my van, the lessons that I learn and getting closer to the life that I have dreamed of living.

I wish I had heard about van life a long time ago but I just discovered it about two years ago.  Like many, I watched many videos on YouTube and just day dreamed about it.  I have a family and a full time job so I felt there was no way van life would be possible for me.

In August of 2020, a friend who had become a widow, needed to sell her minivan.  I decided to purchase it and start taking weekend trips.  I have had a wonderful time getting my van prepared.  My goal is to go on at least one monthly trip.  Thankfully, I have much to learn but I have already coma a long way.
